Earlier this fall, I had the chance to visit David Torres, Silvia Estrada, and Raul Treviño of the Excellence Group, in Cancun at The Finest Playa Mujeres, their gorgeous property just north of the city.
A Visit with Excellence
We were introduced by Adriana Segovia, our Expedia Area Manager in Cancun, when I sent out a request for feedback on our Expedia PartnerCentral products—we wanted to hear the good and bad, because we knew it would help our platform grow. Lorena Victorio, the Associate Market Manager, shared that they knew EPC like the back of their hand—in fact, they knew the tool so well they’d sometimes email her about new features, before the official communication came from headquarters!
I very happily reached out to them to arrange a call. I anticipated an interesting conversation, but did not expect the depth and breadth of their knowledge. Together we discussed improvements to EPC, functionality feedback, and suggestions that made me feel like I was chatting with the very Product Managers who worked on the tools.
We gained so much from our time together, a call simply wouldn’t suffice. So to Cancun we went, cameras in tow. Check out the video we produced as a result of the trip.
